Welcome to Issue 20 of the Communist History Network Newsletter. The twenty-issue milestone is marked by a (very modest) refresh of the Newletter's design. The Newsletter also has a new website address: http://www.socialsciences.man.ac.uk/chnn. Requests to the homepage of the old website address (http://les1.man.ac.uk/chnn) will be automatically redirected to the new site until the old server is withdrawn. It will take longer for the new article level web addresses to filter through to the indexes of search engines such as Google, but this process will work itself through over the coming weeks. The search facility on the CHNN website, which enables full-text searches of all twenty issues in the archive, will be reinstated before the end of the year. The deadline for submissions for the Spring 2007 edition of the Newsletter is March 30 2007, and contributions are welcomed.
